around october i noticed a lump in my throat..everyone said it was just a swollen gland. in december, it was still there and started to get worried about so i went to the doctor and she said i was fighting a long infection from a past sore throat. i took antibiotics for 10 days but the lump is still there.

now ive had the lump for 5 months, went to an ear, nose, throat doctor and he said it was a swollen lymph node and i should get a blood test for mono. he gave me amoxicillin to take for 10 days; i am on the 4th day and havent noticed anything different yet.

the lump usually doesnt hurt me, sometimes i forget its even there. although some mornings i wake up with a little sore throat but only on the side with the lump. but most of the time it doesnt bother me.

does anyone have any other ideas of what this could be? i think about
this constantly and would just like the right answers and treatment to get over this.

--thankyou.
