Hi,

I am just a bit worried looking to seek advice on what to do or atleast re-gain my confidence.

Me and my Girlfriend had protected sex a while back just before Christmas, just after her regular period had ended. (When I was about to ejactulate I had pulled out properly and correctly in using caution).

My girlfriend has very heavy periods which last 5 days but are part of her regular life in her life and normal. She is not on the pill just yet. I am briefly going to explain the steps we had taken. I had been worried about pregnancy from then onwards and have learned a very valuable lesson.

Taken 2 Pregnancy Tests: Taken simultaniously, about 2-3 weeks after Christmas. Both tests where used correct and properly.

After we had taken both tests my girlfriends periods was about 5-7 days late (with alot of NORMAL White discharge each day). She then recieved her period which had a regular duration of about 5 days and was heavy and normal.

NOTE: The periods did not contain the symtoms of pregnancy such as light and pink blood, or spotting.

I think her period may have been late due to a stress period between us. We was both paranoid about being pregnant and what could happen to both our futures which had resulted in alot of emotion and deep paranoia.

My girlfriends period cycle had started again a few days ago, regular as from the last period
(The cycle explained above) which was not late, and was heavy and normal which are just about to end.

She has not recived any symptoms of pregnancy at all.

Has anyone got any advice in giving me, or am I simpily paranoid?

Regards.

young girls periods like to jump around, even if they've been on time before. Her period being late just means that her egg released a little late. The time from the egg releasing and the period NEVER changes. Meaning if it's late, the egg released late, early, egg released early. It sounds as though you two are being paranoid about nothing. She could have every symptom under the sun for pregnancy get a heavy period test negative and BE negative. She could also have NO symptoms, skip her period and BE pregnant.

She definitely isn't pregnant. You guys are doing everything right but the pill is a good idea also just for extra precaution.
