Q: swollen and bloated stomach after Lletz of cervix

3 days ago i got Lletz of the cervix done for cin2, i was worried that i was pregnant at the time because blood test do not work with me, now after the operation my stomach is overly swollen/bloated and everybody is saying i look pregnant, and in 3 days i have gained nearly 3kg could i be pregnant? or is it caused from the operation?

I think it might be air, as sometimes in abdominal operations they introduce air in order to access the organs more easily. I would have expected you would have been told about that.

Try sipping hot water with a little bit of root ginger in it.

i had same op and it was just over 3 weeks ago, my stomach was bloated too... but i had no bleeding then a week later started to bleed (thought it must be my period come early) but two weeks later i'm still bleeding... is this normal??

Yes it can be. If you are concerned at all, please call your doctor who performed your procedure and ask.

Have you gone in for your 2 weeks checkup? If everything was fine, it is likely this is normal for your body. But to be sure, give the doctor's office a call. No reason to sit and worry.

not been given a two week checkup... he said i'd be as right as reign within a week, i am a bit concerned because its getting heavier every day
