Hard Lump Near Penis

I am 18 years old and I have recently found a small, hard lump just above my penis to the right. The lump seems no larger than 2mm and feels like a small sphere. It doesn't hurt nor can i feel anything when i touch it. It is just to the right of the penis and in a position where i am able to feel the whole way around the lump. I was just wondering if this sounds like anything serious or is a common problem?
