I wanted to poll others because I find
that seeing self-injury photographs make
me have the urge to do it to myself. I
haven't cut in a long time, but used to be
pretty bad about it. I have found that I
should avoid looking at the images.

Yes, images always used to make me want to
start doing it again. Any kind of wound
in general, whether it be accidental or on
purpose did. I learned quickly not to
watch things like the TV show Scarred on
MTV and to stay away from photos online.
It's probably best for most people who are
trying to stop to stay away from that
stuff. It's like putting a bottle of
alcohol in front of a recovering alcoholic
and seeing how they react.
