Q: Chances of False Positive?

Does anybody have any statistics on the chances of a false positive? I got my bfp yesterday, and I know I am pg because of how I feel - lots of weirdness in my tummy. I don't want to get excited and it be false.

There arent many tests that come up positive and be false unless its really old or defected. Why dont you take another test to see if its right. Then go see a doc.

First response has had a bad batch of birth control going around. Some people have been getting false positives from that. If thats what you used then get another one... Get another one anyway, but it's a really rare thing to get false positives... Your most likely pregnant!! Congrats!

I'm in that mindset too. I want to go home from work and immediatly break out the other one that came in the package! I got the cheap kind - publix brand!!!

Yes I am very excited. I was scared and concerned at first, my hubby and I aren't in that great financial shape, but the more I think about a baby, the more I wonder why we waited until now!

Yep - we're just going to hit the ground running. We're hoping to be out of debt and in a house by the end of the year. I'm skeptical, but the hubby is determined! There's no way he's raising his boy in an apartment! He's already calling it "he" - and he actually used the phrase "my boys can swim!" in a normal conversation!
