Q: prometrium decrease or increase periods ?

My doctor put me on prometrium to control my heavy periods. 10 days a month, only 100mg a night. But I keep reading stuff online about having heavier periods on prometrium (and that is for post-menopausal women or women trying to conceive). That makes it confusing. Anyone ever use the stuff? How were your periods?
