Ok, My whole life i have had this habbit of biting my cheeks/ tounge and i dont even know i am doin it sometimes Razz i nhave like, scars and stuff inside my mouth from it too. Sad I have perfect teeth by the way and i have never had a cavity or anythin so it is not affecting my teeth, but can it couse anything bad? and do you know why I might be doing that? Honestly I dont feel like it hurts or anything and i dont just do it when i am nervous or anything! But my deentist is worried because i cant stop and like I bite at it everyday to the point wheere it bleeds and scars!!

Stop. Your tongue biting is a nuisance. Stop.
Yeah you can get cancer from having tissues that don't heal fully. I mean it makes sense doesn't it. Those cells are continually regenerating... That's the very thing that starts one down the cancer road. The real question you should ask is...why ARE you doing it? What satisfaction do you get from it and what are you missing in your life that you need that satisfaction delivered by way of habit? Ask what is going on in your head when you start biting... then you'll see, just as I did. Goodbye.
