Hi,

I have been taking tea previously and did not have any flu symtoms.

However, after having high blood pressure, I am regularly having cough and colds.

I also notice that whenever I drink any sort of tea, I get a cold immediately and it takes quite a long time for me to get better.

Would anyone know whether there are side effects of hypertension drugs and intake of tea?

Thank you.

What type of antihypertension drugs you are taking?
Cough can be a side effect of using one type of antihypertensive drugs.

I don't think you should think of tea as a cough inducer, because, it's well known as favorable choice to smooth coughs (moistens airways and breaks built up mucous).
What kind of cough you have?
Do you sometimes get cough without cold?
Are you stressing too much?
