For All You Computer Genuiss' Out There....

Ok I just got a cheap digital camera cuz I decided it would be better paying 20 bucks for a digital camera, than paying 13 bucks for some polaroid film... Well anyways I got all the crap installed and I tried to get some pics up but when I try to get the pics off of the camera it says there is a connection error, and if I go into the pc cam thing it says "error 80040275: cannot add vicap to filtergraph". When I click on the thing that says "devices" up on top by the "file" and "options" things it says underneath it "logitech usb video camera" with a check next to it like thats what it is trying to use, I tried to uncheck it but I cant figure it out... Logitech was our web cam that we had but we lost it when we moved... So is it having problems with the connection deal because it thinks it supposed to use logitech even though this program is for this new digital camera? Im so confused and mad at this computer. Can anyone help me at all? I wish somebody that knew this stuff lived by me and could come figure it out for me lol...
