What is the prognosis of liver cancer
my husband has cancer of the liver he has
lost 140lbs and is haveing trouble keeping
any thing down and is so weak .
He was first diagnosiedwith stomach cancer
they removed the tumor and over half his
stomach dr discovered spots on the liver
did biopsy and it came back positive my
question is how much longer can he go on?
He weighed in at 355+when he got ill.
He had his surgery nov 4th 2003 he had
trouble keeping any thing down so they put
in a feeding tube,he stillhas problems
keeping any thing down
he had his last chemo last week we have a
appt for a ct to see if the chemo is
working ,the last round of chemo was not
doing its job.Dr said this was the last
chemo he could try .
The name of the cancer he had in stomach
was neuro endozerine carsonoma.
I have never had to deal with any thing
like this has been very emotional fory me
and my family .
