are you out of the closet 100%??

I am out to some people. I still need to come out to family.

I am on the fence about co-workers though, as I do not feel my orientation has any bearing on my job.

It doesn't but I was out at work because I was friends with a lot of the people I worked with. It is nothing to be ashamed of. But its a personal decision.

I'm totally out. I'm not the type of person who will say to someone I meet "Hi, I'm Zac, I'm gay." I used to work with a couple of peopel who were like that, and I didn't like it. Homosexuality shouldn't define people. When I happen to talk about my boyfriend or if the question comes up, I gladly answer it or talk about it. I have many people who are surprised (especially after I've been working at a place for a couple of months) that I'm gay, when I bring up my boyfriend or something of the like. My entire family knows (with the exception of my estranged father) and my friends do. I find that people aren't worth knowing if they can't at least respect you.

marvel, kudos. I totally agree. I never tell people either. If they know me then they figure it out. It really doesn't define who I am.

You be brave and let us know when it happens. I think it will be OK and they are going to love you no matter what.

Well, being as young as I am, I don't want to tell them, and having it end up not being true. Although, my friends know (most of them) and my oldest brother knows.... My dad and other brother both suspect though. Being strong is hard.

Being strong is hard but you will find it is worth it. As you grow older I think you will find life not so challenging...high school sucks for almost every one so tough it out and you will be OK...you said you didn't want to tell them and then have it not be true...so do you think you are just young and going threw a phase? That is possible...I myself came out at 15 but I was always 100% sure..I know it is different for every one.
