Q: How to Tell

My girlfriend began to bleed after I was using fingers when having sex 2 days prior to her cycle.

It has been several (4) days since and she's not having severe pain but it's bleeding which makes us worry.

How can I tell whether she's having the normal menstrual or the inner side of her vagina is bleeding ????

Thanks for your advice

Very likely it's her normal period. If you'd scratched her or something, there wouldn't be that much blood (not four days anyway). For her to have that much blood from just a scratch, you would've had to really gash her.

When did you guys notice the bleeding? If you'd cut her good enough to cause that much blood, you would've known during sex, because she wouldn't been in quite a bit of pain. Give it a few days to see if it's her period. If it doesn't fit in with her normal period or she's experiencing pain or discomfort, she should get to the doc immediately, so it won't get infected.

Right before a woman's cycle, if you have sex or use your fingers or whatever it can make her period start early. It does for a lot of women anyway. It happens to me. If she is not in pain then I would not worry about it. But if she bleeds longer than she normally does with her period then she may want to go to the doctor.

When a woman orgasms, most often her uterus contracts (aka cramps up). Now if she orgasmed - or came close to it- her uterus probably contracted and started squeezing blood out (given that the uterus is where the blood builds up, you see.)

blood from a cut: bleeding that long would leave her seriously ill if not dead. I doubt since she's still alive, breathing and active, that she was injured serverly enough for her to blee from that non-stop.
