i am 36 YO man. Last week end i just ate 2 slices of bread with tea and played for 3 hours outdoor and after that, my vision got blurred in both the eyes. Vision was hazy as if some thing is blocking inside the eye and it was more in the left eye than the right. I thought it could be dirty/greasy specs but it was not so. I sas rainbow colored halos around lights when i saw light bulbs. Is it due to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level)? thanks. After food and rest the vision got improved as normal. I started taking beta carotene gels after that. what may be the possible cause as i suffered with this one for the first time. Next day morning i ate properly and played 2 hours of indoor badminton but nothing happened.

Hmmm, well I don't wish to alarm you but I would get to an ophthalmologist tomorrow, as you could have an impending retinal detachment and if that happens, you don't get another chance! Rainbow coloured halos are usually a sign that you need urgent attention!

Edit: Okay I have checked a few sites and it seems halos can occasionally be caused by overtired, overused eyes so maybe you're okay Embarassed but still, better to err on the safe side! Smile
