You sound like me I cry at the drop of a hat. I don't know what to tell you. I'm very good at forgiving but I don't have the best selfesteam around people after something happens. Me and my husband just got in an argument this weekend and I blame it all on him because he didn't react to something the way I thought he should. But now that I think about it maybe it was my fault maybe I over reacted. I don't know. All I can tell you is your not alone. Hopefully someone would have some advice for the both of us!

Hun you are not alone I am one of those who are like that welcome to the club love. I don't feel like crying but I just want to do something to like throwing it away or giving it to someone after being commented, like few days ago the diamond ring that I bought!

My advice is that everyone has a different opinion....and it's harder with husbands of course, but with something such as hair for example, we have our own personal style and taste. That's who we are in the expression of a hairstyle or the way we walk or dress. That's why it hurts so much when someone insults us. It's not just the hairstyle!

I think the best thing to think of when something like that happens is that we all have our own tastes, and that if someone doesn't like it, we can't please everyone, so we might as well just please ourselves and make ourselves happy with our choices....as long as there isn't anything "wrong" or "illegal" with them... we've all got a right to do what we want! If someone wants to insult you for your hairstyle...let them, it just shows they don't have good taste and come on, how can they know what's best for you. Only you know that.

And for them to be rude enough to try to judge what's right for you, makes them the one who should be up for ridicule because rudeness and uncharitable behavior sticks out way worse than the worst up-do Very Happy

I have a tendency to cry at the drop of a hat but not if someone I don't know ridicules me...then I just get mad! I agree with mominashoe, and if Amy Winehouse can wear her up-do without being embarrassed then anyone should be able to!
