Q: Chronic dry cough with difficulty taking deep breaths

I've been experiencing a chronic dry cough for the past few months. Doctors have ruled out any kind of tumor or mass in my throat and acid reflux. Prior to experiencing the cough, I've had a pain at the base of my throat in the area of my collar bone for about the last 10 months. I'm also experiencing the cough and pain when I try to take a deep breath. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I'm going to see a pulmonologist in a few weeks because my regular Dr. is baffled.

I have been experiencing the same issues. When I am relxed my breathing is fine but as soon as I take a deep breath I feel a sharp pain deep in the back of my throat close to collar bone.
It always causes me to cough a little but there is no mucus or anything. I haven't been to a doctor yet but if it keeps happening I will.
