Assuming You Mean Desert Island

Like when we were kids and said we would
go down by the creek and set up a tent and
camp out. For me, that was out of the
question, because the trains came through
our farm property and you wouldn't be
safe.
I would want water and lots of it. A
means to communicate for somebody to
PLEASE COME GET ME! Then, let's look
around for what kind of food we have here
on this piece of earth.
Thirdly I would want to be with someone I
loved. Somebody who actually cared for
me.
Then, I would like to be able to realize
that my life was blessed and I am still
among the living.
And, finally, I would like to be able to
know that my life had meaning and that
everything that I had gone through was for
a reason. Most of all, the reason for me
to look from the beginning to the point
that I was then and now was worth the
journey.

Well I only meant that it's possible. Not
that I can. I remember trying to do that
with sticks when I was little lol.
Reminds me of that movie with Tom
Hanks...where he gets stranded on an
island for 5 years or something, oh yeah
Castaway I think it was called.

Right-- i thought his hands would have
caught fire first if it weren't for the
blood cooling down the friction from his
hands.... great movie!!! --- Roberta 777
--enjoyed reading your choices for the
deserted island -- interesting...we all
need the validation that our life --no
matter how seemingly insignificant we
are--is and has been something of worth
and productivity--- Bobbette

Yes. Good choices, especially your
children, water and your faith. Those are
just things I could never live without,
anywhere.

And, If It Is Going To Be A Beach Party

We should really have true friends.
Friends who stand by us through thick and
thin. Friends who aren't just there to
say the nice things, but friends who will
honestly be there for you in truth.
Telling the truth has never been a problem
for me even though my dad used to say, "if
you don't have anything nice to say, don't
say anything at all." There is also truth
in that. But, I think it takes courage to
speak your truth to a friend, even though
it may not be the truth they want to hear.
All good things in moderation.
And, the means to survive on a deserted
island. As I said before, water, and one
would need shelter, food of course and a
means of preparation and cooking it.
With the right environment, you could
almost set up your own colony.
