Does anyone know what this diet is used
for other than weight loss? Was is
started as a way to prepare the body for
surgery?

Someone has once suggested that this diet
originated at any number of hospitals, but
thus far, no medical facilities have
claimed it as their own. It seems to be a
myth.
The cabbage sou diet may be effective for
temporarily losing a few pounds. However,
this is not a very nutritionally sound
plan and certainly not one to live on.
