op im 98% sure your not pregnant, you should have ovulated WAY before you had sex |
ok i get what your saying, i did have sex after my period too BUT you also Ovulate 14days AFTER your period. But why did i get my period 2days after i had sex with my fiance, and i am pregnant Idony. |
Actually, you ovulate 14 days prior to your NEXT period. So the 14 days after your period will only apply if you have the 'perfect' 28 day cycle that a very lot of women (especially teens) do not have.
Unless you know your real ovulation (from temping and charting - not from online calculators because those are just a 'generalization' that I could make looking at the calendar) - you don't know when you do or would have ovulated.
That said, in a perfect environment, sperm can live for up to 5 days. If you had sex after your period, even briefly, that would be the most likely time of conception. Sperm are not super heroes. If you are actively having a period (and not just spotting!), it is really unlikely you would get pregnant during your menses.
