It sucks..but i think of it as its not 8 months its more like 31 weeks and when I look at it that way it doesnt seem so bad.. idk, im tryin to make light of it. You all could do it too, im no stronger then anyone else.. You just do it, no choice in the matter. I love my husband and this is the life he chose and to be with him its what i have to do too. All I can say is the homecoming is what makes this worth it. Its what i keep telling myself anyways. Bree is getting so big and active im hoping chasing her around will keep me preoccupied. Ive done these before but never with a baby. Idk.. im so conflicted lol. I try to be positive and look at it that way but at the same time seeing my big mean drill instructor marine corps husband tear up and knowing how bad he hurts kills me.

& I can see how thinking of it in weeks would make it seem sooner.
I can't wait to see pictures of his homecoming, that'll be so amazing.

I'm sure that him just knowing that you two are waiting for him when he comes back is enough to get him through it

Im not too worried about his safety. They have pretty much a full American base where he is going. I mean, of course I still worry, but it could be much worse. Some people have 15 months deployments. Now that I couldnt do! hats off to all Army wives. And he is the greatest. I mean no kidding he is the man I dreamed of when I was a little girl. He writes me love letters, he takes me dancing, hes tall and handsome, an amazing father... Seriously, you could not ask for a better man. That why I dont mind waiting for him to be honest. Id really wait forever for him. But as morbid as it sounds that what is so scary about him being gone. If something were to happen with him I couldnt ever find anyone like him ever again. I truly am married to my best friend and never will anyone compare to him.. haha I kinda like the guy

Awww Vanessa, I'm so sorry that he left! I can't even imagine how you feel right now. You should send him the picture of him kissing Bree in a nice frame if he can get mail like that where he's stationed. I'll be praying for his safe return.

aww so sorry you gotta do that, ive been there done that and made it through though, i didnt get to do the exciting homecoming though i drove to landstuhl to see him and i got lost and sat at the mcdonalds and he came and found me and just opened the car door and jumped in the car. But wow she will be walking and everything when he gets back! I hope the time flies for you like it did for me.
