I doubt it but the psychiatrist may ask about drug use. This is a common pattern of behavior for people that suffer from mental disorders. It is self medicating to try and calm the brain down. I can assure you the psychiatrist has heard about drug use many times. This will not be shocking or new to the doctor. The doc will probably tell you this is not appropriate and you will need to stop self medicating. Pot may interfere with the prescription medications should you require any.

Be brave. Fess up to the pot use. It is not the end of the world. This may be the first step to feeling better! Hope all works out for you.

I agree, tell the truth in the begining and you will feel better getting it out in the open right away.

My neurologist does a random drug test on me every now and then because he gives me 120 of my pain pills at a time. Guess he wants to make sure I the one that is taking them.
