Q: dry skin and acne?

I've had bouts with adult acne, but now I am breaking out and my skin is so dry that it's flaking off. You would think that it would break out because it's oily, but it's so dry, that it looks like a desert! Any suggestions?

the exact same thing happened to me (but I was 13 Razz) but anyway, if I moisturised I would break out even more! so i went to the doctor and he gave me a medicine called Dalacin-T and after 1 day of using it i saw inprovement and it has been 2 weeks now and my skin is 99 percent clear and moisturised! and I had horrible acne before! If you dont want to go to the doctor, try using tea-tree oil, or rub blended cucumber and apples on your face to form a mask then wash it off Wink both of thoes are GREAT for dry or combination skin with acne:P

Ps DONT USE BENZAMYCIN! it is horrible for dry skin!! SmileSmile

and dont listen to thoes comments about putting baking soda with water on your skin because that is only for OILY skin !!!

I hope it helped:P

With love, Yilania
