Has anyone tried it?

Its a herbal slimming pill, I saw it on Super size vs Super skinny last night?

Much of hoodia's popularity stems from claims that the San Bushmen of the Kalahari desert relied on hoodia for thousands of years to ward off hunger and thirst during long hunting trips. They were said to have cut off the stem and eat the bitter-tasting plant.

Hmm ... afraid I am a little paranoid about protecting my liver and some of these things are just too radical for me.

I've never tried anything like that. I wonder, if it isn't regulated, how would anyone know that the ingredients are actually Hoodia?

Hoodia Info
Ingi makes a really good point - in fact, a few years ago there was a huge scandal b/c a number of diet pills were claiming to contain Hoodia (an appetite suppressant that has a number of positive reviews - who knows if it really works), and there was actually *no* Hoodia in the pills. Some diet pills now come with a "certificate of authenticity" that says they really came from South Africa (which is where they grow naturally), but I don't know if I could even trust this!
