I have had sle for 20 years now. I was diagnosed at age 9. I have severe hear loss from it. This has been the most devastating part of my lupus. I can deal with the chronic pain and fatigue. I can even deal with both of my kidneys being shot. But the hair loss i can't deal with. My dermatologist has suggested i receive injections in my scalp. I beieve they are called kenalog. Has anyone else dealt with this? If so do you have any suggestions for my hair to start growing back without the injections? Has anyone ever had the injections? Please comment !!! My dr.s appointment is monday the 18th...i really dont want the injections but if that is my last resort i guess i will buckle down and get them. Also if anyone has ever had the injections do they hurt and what were the side effects, if any?
