I have been having pain in my foot for over a month now. I recently went to a podiatrist and had my foot x-rayed. He thought it was a stress fracture, then I went and had a CT scan, which they decided it was a complete non displaced fracture of the sesamoid.

I have 3 games left of my regular season of college basketball. Then the tournament starts Feb. 29. Is there any way I can play in these games, and still be fine? My coach already said I don't have to practice, and game time would be limited. I just want to know the risk associated with this, what is the chance that my fractured sesamoid will get worse? Not knowing how long it has been fractured.
