Ok, my husband and I would like to try to start having a baby. Does anyone have any advise. On march 29 I had af and then we decided to stop taking bc right after the first week of my pills so I had another af on april 17 but it was only like one day. Does this sound right or could that of been the implantation bleeding? If that was implantation bleeding then I have not got my next af yet which would of been due on april 25. If it was just another af then I should be due on this coming friday may 7. Does anyone know what it sounds like?

Thanks for your advise.

Advice
I don't have a lot of advise other than to tell you it is generally advised to wait 3 months after you go off the pill before you start trying to be sure the med. Is out of your system

It sounds like your body is just adjusting to the withdrawl of the pill. How long were you taking the pill before stopping. If it was more than a year, normally it takes about a mo to get preg. If you think your preg, just get a test. That will let you know for sure!

Good luck,

Thank you for the information. Yes I was on it for about 6 years or so. But for the last several months I have been not taking it correctly. Do you think that will matter and still take a month or longer?

Most likely, it will take you a while to get preg though. The breakthrough bleeding is normal and could happen off and on for a good couple of months.

I wish you the best of luck!

I just want to let u know that I my bf and I have only just recently started to try for a baby, we are onto month four.

I thort I would tell u that after stopping the pill it practically leaves ur system in a few days it does not take three months or anything like that, wot generally happens for women who have been bc especially the pill, is that ur body gets regulated by the pill into knowing when af is coming when u stop the pill ur body doesnt recognise wot is going on and then has to readjust itself to find its own natural rhythm.

Not knowing how ur cycle was before the pill makes it difficult to know wot it will do when stopping it again. My advice is to wait and if af doesnt show up on ur next due date which is may 7 I think u said then I would test.

Ur own cycle could change and u may just be discovering that ur cycle is no longer a set amount of days but a different amount, thats wot happened with me.

Scanned And I've Got Eggs!!
Hi all, I am a newbie here, have been reading your posts all these while and worked up my courage to go and see a specialist. Been trying for eight months -natural- but last week went for a consultation with an oby-gyn specialist and had me scanned and :d yuppy-got eggs!!!So, the doc injected me to "burst" my egg in order for my hubby's sperm to be attached to it(???) well, I was fertile and we "did" it every day in the hopes of a miracle. So another 6 days to my periods...Fingers crossed!!
Thanks for your support!

Bebe, I wish you the best. What did you have to tell the doc for them to do a scan? What does that involve. I am still trying. I think I ovulated on wed and we had intercourse on mon and tues and yesterday just incase. We are going to keep it up.

Good luck to you and keep me posted.
