I had my son on jan 9th and have my 6 week follow up soon, what will they check/do to me?

What's the norm here is that they will check the wound (the stiches) how well in have healed then maybe they will do a pap smear.

thanks i was wondering what they would do! another pap... no thanks lol! I had 34 stitches seeing i had an episiotomy and 3rd degree tear.

Ouch that must have hurt a lot! I am not sure what do they do there why not call the clinic and ask them? It could safe you all the wondering?

They will feel your stomach to make sure your uterus has shrunk, look at your stiches, possibly remove them if they are not the kind that dissolve, and offer you some birth control.
