Q: delaying period while on the pill

I just recently started my new pack of birth control pills, but I am taking a trip to the beach with my boyfriend in a month, is there a way that I can delay my period for a couple of days so that it is not an issue while we are at the beach? Will this mess up my menstrual cycle (if i only do it once), if so...how badly and is it worth it?

Call your doctor, depending on what kind of pills you have you could start a new pack and skip the sugar pills, thus skipping your period for a month.
