This evening me and my boyfriend were having sex. When he ejaculated the condom broke. My period ended this past thursday and it is currently 1am monday morning. Before this period, I had not had one in about 2months. I was on the "patch", and while on it I began spotting like a regular period. Last year I had 2 miscarrages, one at 5 weeks and the other at 7 weeks. My boyfriend spoke with a doctor this evening and the doctor believes that I am mostlikly not pregnant. He aslo spoke with someone at a pregnancy hotline, and they said the same thing. Also my mother believes I am not pregnant. I am just curious if there is anyone out there that might have a similar experiance or that might be able to give me some insite.

The doctor also mentioned that I might want to consider taking the morning after pill...But I am scared to because of how my body reacts to hormones. Plus that fact that I began a period while on the patch, and I didnt think that I would, and that my iron levels are low.

Also when my boyfriend spoke with the hotline, the person said that since my period ended about 3 and a half days ago that I am probably safe. I also looked up information on the rythmn method and I believe that currently this "could" be considered a "safe time". Eventhough it maynot be "safe".

Thanks for any reposes that may be given. It will be helpful for me try to to understand whats going on.

Well yeah it is a "safe" time. But youcan get pregnant any time of the month, and sperm will live in you for 3-5 days
