Well I know u can detect a heartbeat on ultrasound at least 7 and a half weeks and as for a doppler, I heard mine when I was 10 and a half weeks preg, but ive never yet felt a heartbeat thr my stomach. Thats probbaly ur pulse, I dont think its possible to feel the babys heartbeat thru the stomach....

At my first ultrasound at 7 wks they could only find the heartbeat with an intervaginal probe I didnt get to hear it tho. But I think I was 12 wks when I heard it on the doppler now everytime I go it gets louder & louder!

theres absolutely no way on gods green earth you can FELL a heart beat of a baby!! i mean come on its in a sack in a sack in skin in your uterus.

thats just silly and if your mom said that she needs to look up stuff before she randomly decides to tell you crap. im 6 weeks right now and the only heart i feel is mine.

when i was 42 weeks with my daughter once again the only heart i could feel was mine.

Some people mistake a Heart Beat for a major blood vessel called the abdominal aorta you have in your stomach. when you press on your stomach you can feel the Blood Vessel. I am a doctor and have had a few people come in about this.
