I have been taking birth control for almost a year now and I am not perfect with taking pills everyday. There was one weekend this month where I forgot to take my pills and my boyfriend and I still had sex. My boyfriend usually never wears a condom or pulls out. We always figured it was alright cause I was on the pill. My period always comes on time every month and this month my period did not come at the scheduled time. My period is now 6 days late and I have taken 2 home pregnancy tests which both came back "not pregnant". I was wondering if there was still a chance that I could be pregnant?

Since you are 6 days late....I would say that you could be pregnant. I would wait a day or 2 and if you still don't start. I would take another test. Try the "First Response" test, it is supposed to tell you early than the others. Even a faint faint line would mean you are pregnant.

birth control can mess up your schedule not matter how regular your period is. you can have an irregular period. and chances are that if you tested after 6 days and it said not pregnant your more than likely NOT PREGNANT
