Q: probability of pregnancy on yasmin

Been on yasmin for two and a half years. regular periods(2 days) no problems. had diarreia the thurs-sat of my 3rd week and have sex the saturday night, the following week i didn't get my period, only brown spotting. probability of pregnancy?

It sounds like since you were sick from some sort of virus.....it probably delayed your period. Have you missed any of your pill? I would wait a couple of more days to a week....and if you still haven't got it....then take a pregnancy test.

i didnt miss any pills, but i did get somewhat lazy taking them at different times in the morning. some days at 8, some days at like 11 or 12.

As long as you didn't miss any....I would say you are not pregnant. Your cycle can get all messed up when you are sick or stressed. I would just give it some time and try no to worry. As for the brown spotting...that is just old blood....not a sign of pregnancy.

As long as it was more than 3 hours after taking a pill that you had a bout of the runs, then you are fine.

And right, spotting is not a normal sign on pregnancy. Just go buy a test and ease your fears!

thanks for the info. but if it wasn't more than three hours i had the problem after i took the pill, which it wasn't, is there still concern? being the first day possibly that the pill wasn't taking effect, is it even possible to get pregnant?

Only if it happened every single day. Missing one pill on one day is not a need for concern.
