I am 5 weeks preg and I dont feel like it. This was an unplanned preg. and I am now single and doing this alone. I have not decided what to do yet but I cant shake this feeling of the blues. Nothing seems right and everything bothers me, is this normal or should i be more concerned?

If you would like to still keep the baby, try starting some plans to get yourself excited for his/her arrival! Maybe check out the baby section in stores, start throwing together a scrap book of your pregnancy, take notes on it, etc. That might help you cope a bit better. Do you have any friends you can talk to? Having support is important when you're pregnant and will make it a lot more fun and easy. Feeling blue or irritated while pregnant is unfortunately pretty normal since your hormones are rising so fast.

If you are scared to raise this child alone and aren't ready to do it yet, you can always look into abortion or adoption. It is not too late for either of those options.

always talk to somebody if you're feeling this way. having people to talk to and to support you through this is always the best way.

Day 22: heart begins to beat with the child's own blood, often a different type than the mothers'.

Week 3: By the end of third week the child's backbone spinal column and nervous system are forming. The liver, kidneys and intestines begin to take shape.

Week 4: By the end of week four the child is ten thousand times larger than the fertilized egg.

Week 5: Eyes, legs, and hands begin to develop.

Your baby is definately there even if you don't feel him/her. I felt the same way. Once you hit that point where your baby is large enough to feel his/her movements you'll be feeling pregnant. And remember you can do it alone, in fact , in this day and age most people have to do it alone. And please don't ever consider abortion. Just look above at all the things your baby already has going for him/her Smile
