ok so im really confused about my body right now. i started taking birth control a couple months ago and had sex without a condom about 3 weeks after started. i took plan b the day after just in case. its been about 40 days since i had sex and i thought i might be pregnant because i have been nauseous and my boobs are getting bigger every day (may be the birth control) so i took a test yesterday and it came out negative. i also have acid reflux and i figured maybe thats why i am vomiting but it has never been this bad before.my period was never really regular which is why i started birth control and i havnt gotten it yet this month. im just really confused at my body right now. did i take a test too early? help!

did you start on the sugar pills yet? like the last row? because your period won't come on right when you start taking those. it'll take a few days before it comes on. what plan b did you use? condom? if the condom didn't break you should be alright. those symptoms your having could just be you body adjusting to the birth control. it does that sometimes.

If you are using birth control pills, condoms, and you used plan b, you are extremely protected.

As for plan b, you should not have really used it. It is for emergencies only, because the hormones aren't the best for your body. Birth control along with condoms is EXTREMELY effective. Even birth control pills alone is 99% effective whe ntaken right!

Being nauseated and having sore bbs is most likely from your birth control pills. Nausea can continue for up to the first 3 packs of pills, and if it continues after that you should talk to your doctor about switching brands or see whats up.

Being 40 days after having sex and having a negative pregnancy test, especially when using that much protection, means you are definitely not pregnant.

okay well if your about to start the sugar pills your should get your period 1-3 days after you start taking the sugar pills. it can just be period symptoms. but if your period is more than a week late then pregnancy should be thought of. but i'd say your not pregnant.

well i actually used to get sick from my birth control, and if you are vomiting your bc up then you are not going to be protected! if the vomitng continues you will need to change pills or you might as well say you are not even taking it, if it is going down and coming straight back up! but yeah talk to your doctor he may be able to offer you a 'gentler' bc pill. and the added hormones from plan b will be making this worse for you
