abcess and finger pain Posted: 02-11-08 12:53pm
On my last post I wrote about me getting
an abcess and pain on my finger and going
to the ER. Today the results of the
culture came back and yes it was infected
by a BUG which doesn't 'go way' with most
kind of anti-biotics. So the doctor put me
on a very strong course of anti-biotics
for a week. So ladies if you have any
pain, sore or abcess please get medical
help quickly and make sure that like in my
case the manicurist, tell her to be more
careful when they clean the cuticles, not
to push it to deep.

you could even get the company to
compesate you for your medical bills and
time off work if you had to miss. I wouls
definately file a complaint with the
manager....glad you are on your way to
feeling better

How scary! I hope all goes well and you
start feeling better. I would for sure be
in touch with company this happened with.
You would think they would agree to pay
for some of the costs since it happened
because of something they did.

Oh wow, that's terrible! I would
definitely be sure to tackle those people!
Something for the bills for the doctor
and the meds and definitely something for
pain and suffering. I hope it gets better
soon!

To all that reply to my post, thanks but I
don't think that I want to take up any
action on the manicurist at the moment
anyway it's going to be a long one if I
do. BTW I am going okay with the new
anti-biotics. I need you guys' help btw

I know you don't want to take action, but
maybe not for your own personal reasons,
you might consider that their unhygienic
performance can spread to others.
