Hello ladies!
Lee here...and I just wanted to let you
know that we're thinking about opening a
new forum called Teen Pregnancy Chat.
We've recognized a need to create two
different communities...one for teens and
the other for older young moms. So, while
we're in transition ... let me know what
you think!
Also, I'll be updating the thread at the
top of the forum called "ONCE banned..."
with banned usernames. Feel free to
report anyone you think needs a good
talking to ... to Bridget, Jules, and
myself. We'll be happy to review your
suggestions.
AND ... while I'm at it ... send me a
line! Anytime. Let me know what you like
and what you don't. I really want to hear
from you. This is your community, and
we're happy to oblige and any all
comments.

have our own pregnancy board.. it would be
the same thing.. just GEARED more towards
them i assume.

Until we create a separate community for
teens, teen moms are welcome here. But as soon as the
forum opens, we will ask pregnant teens to
post only to the teen pregnancy chat.

biggest 2 problems i see with this
1- some teens are way more mature then
others while some adults are way less
mature
2- how would we be sure everything stayed
where its supose to? like how would we
impliment it where no one feels wronged or
anything and tryes to go into the other
one?

like to respond to almost everyone so if I
can post in two forums why cant they? I
think its a bit segregational (is that a
word?) I think everything would be just
fine in one forum if people would just be
nicer. I dont want to have to make two
posts about the same thing so I can share
it with my two different groups of
friends.

The point is that Pregnant Teens and Teen
Moms have different issues and points of
view than the 20+ moms ... and different
ways of communicating their needs.
We want to Pregnancy Community Chat to
attract and meet the needs of older moms
so that the conversations can be
different.
Teen Pregnancy Chat will be targeted to
teens.

No. It shouldn't.
Those of us who aren't pregnant have been
here for a looong time.
I don't think it'd be fair to say that
since we aren't pregnant that we get the
boot.

Additionally, I think that teens reply
mostly to other teen posts. It is a
win-win situation.

Well I know that I, for one, don't have an
interest visiting a forum where 80% of the
posts are dedicated to jolly rancher
slushies and photoshopping pictures. The
point of splitting the forum is to make
PCC more adult-friendly without cencoring
the random "fun" stuff.
(I say "fun" because apparently I'm one of
the few who don't appreciate slushie
threads.)
