New User, Becoming EHEALTHy
Recently, on January 9th, I had cryosurgery done to remove cervical abnormalities. I am also taking Yaz, and about 3 weeks ago I accidentally skipped 2 pills. I took one as soon as I realized, and another one at my regular time. I was going to take the other pill also to make up for it but then I decided that is probably too much hormones. So I went home and read the leaflet for the prescription which said if you miss 2 pills or more in the 3rd or 4th week of the pack (which I was) to throw away the pack and start a new one. Well even though I had already taken two that day I decided to just start a new one. I got my period the next morning ( early, but this is normal for me ) and had it for 4-5 days then it stopped for a couple of days and then started spotting. I have been spotting/breakthrough bleeding since, and it has been nearly 2 weeks. Also some of the blood is very dark, almost black in color. Aside form this being a nuisance, I am concerned if anything could be wrong. Is this normal after skipping pills and starting a new pack?

I have no idea, you should call your doctor since you had surgery for cervical issues it might be related.
