kristen has had a hemmangea (sp?) since she was born its on her back on the left side. it was smaller at birth than it is now. and it looks like its getting redder. our PED said it could get bigger before it starts to get smaller?

was anyone elses kids born with one? if so did it go away?

I've heard about these. It might not ever go away.

Is it raised or flush with her skin?

Do you have a pic of it?

Oni has a Mongolian Spot on her butt/lower back. it looks like a HUGE bruise. People have actually asked me if I whipped her...yea...when she was 3 weeks old someone asked that...losers..

yeah its raised and it looks like a bunch of red...clots? i'll get a pic next time shes awake but she JUST fell asleep after being awake since FIVE!!!!

My cousin had that very thing when she was born. It eventutally went away, but did leave a small mark.

It's called a hemangioma. I was born with one that looked like a strawberry on my upper left chest. It's still sort of there now, but it's really tiny and unless you're lookng for it because you know it's there, you wouldn't notice it.
I actually completely forgot I had it until you posted about them.

I had one when I was born. It was in the middle of my back and used to very red and raised. It's still there now, but it looks like an indention now.

sarah dont you wish you could just smack them when they ask you that shai had one when she was born and the same comments were asked of me too hers is gone now tho thank god lol

bree has one on her finger. Same thing. People always think she hurt it or something but the doctor said you wont be able to see it by age 6
