I'm sure that you have Infectious Mononucleosis (very common, usually self-limited disease, which passes much the way other common viral illnesses resolve).
All of your symptoms are very suggestible for this viral disease (that's why you didn't find antibiotics helpful)
First, you need to do, is to ask you doctor for blood count test, which can show increase number of white blood cells and abnormal lymphocytes. Also, some other test can be made to exclude other possible diseases.
You can ask you doctor for referral for doctor for infectious diseases to make more specific blood tests, such as the monospot and heterophile antibody tests, which can confirm the diagnosis of mono.
