I dunno what to do for my husband this year for valentine's day. We've never been able to go out together on that night for all of the seven years we've been together because of his job (he works at an understaffed restaraunt as a head wait server and nevveerrr gets off and doesn't get home until after 1 in the morning), so of course that is out of the question. I bought some cake decorations and I love to bake so I'll probably make a cake to put in this pretty crystal cake dish we received as a wedding present and put in on the bar in the next few days. But I HAVE to do something more than that.

This is pretty embarrassing, but I think I want to do something with this picture I took for him... but I have no idea what I could do! Do you think he'll even like it? Be honest! lol And I can't for the life of me decide which one is the best. Annny ideas you girls have would be sooo appreciated! And of course if any of you with mad photoshop skills or anything have any ideas, then that would be great. I love you guys!

Embarassed option one:

option two:

It's also a striking picture in black and white.
I'll do a few things with the first shot and then PM them to you or something.

This is an incredible photo of you. Of anyone, actually. It really lends itself to coloring effects, which made it fun to work with.
I'm by no means done tinkering with this photo. These are just the first few things I've done.

Haha thanks girls. Nat you did suuucchh a great job. I really like the second and third ones you posted.

Dani I'm pretty sure he'd know in an instant Laughing That would be really nice if I could make a card out of it. I have a really nice photo printer and some of that expensive glossy photo paper lying around... but then the inside of the card would say like HP or kodak all over it Sad I just don't know...

you could get cardstock... I was thinking if it looked like a hallmark card he might overlook it at first.

Okay two more. Everyone seemed to like the hearts in the corner of the third one, so I did another one like that with better heart colors and a brigter photo.

Brightened, no hearts (the photo itself looks even more professional, IMHO):

Take #1 and do a soft focus and feather the edges. Make it really soft and romantic looking.

Let me know if you like that. I kept it simple for right now, so if you like it and you want to add to it, you can specify what you want done. :]
