Q: Boys and Girls?

Ok, i just bought william a pushchair as he always wants to push his big one and it's getting abit dangerous. Bobby doesn't like the idea, saying that boys shouldn't have pushchairs.
so what our your thoughts? should boys not be allowed to play with dolls and pushchairs? should girls not be allowed to play with cars?
same thing with pink and blue...should boys not be allowed to wear pink and should girls not be allowed to wear blue. i'd like your opinions.
i think its stupid. william loves his pushchair and i'm not going to let this get in the way of his fun

I really think it doesn't matter. As long as he's having fun... Toys should not have a certain gender. Neither should a color.
What ever a kid likes should be what they get... dividing colors and toy by gender is just stupid...

that's what i thought. william likes his cars and trains but he also likes his pushchair, pretend food, etc

yeah, I don't see a problem with it. When I was younger (6/7) and my brother was 1/2 he LOVED my barbies... There would ALWAYS be like 6 in his room when i'd go visit my dad. My little brother loved his cars and things too.. Now he hates ANYTHING girly but then again he's turning 12 this year lol

And, when my sister was 1 my brother was 3/4 he would play with her kitchen and stuff and my old kitchen and dolls at my grandparents house..

it's all role play anyway and they need that kind of play to learn. once the baby is here, i want to get him a little doll. mummy has a baby so has william, so he doesnt get jealous

but i guess some people can be different, mainly men lol bobby even refuses to wear pink! but i live with that. at least william's happy. its his favourite thing at the moment and im glad ive got it

I LOVE guys that wear pink..just not the pastel pink yuck!! Yes, at least william's happy. That's all that should matter. If it's his favorite thing i'd be happy i got it too!

yeah he's happy. his big winnie the pooh teddy that he loves and cuddles all the time is in the pushchair at the moment. he wont let anyone else play with it, so yeah it's his all time favourite toy

They are just pretending and exploring their world.

Theres no point in pushing being gender specific at such a young age.They wil most probably grow out of it at any rate,and find there own niche.

Its just part of play,I think.

I bought Liam a doll for christmas and we take it almost everywhere, he carries it around stores and shows people. He plays with Macys strollers but not often because he runs me over.

Get him a shopping cart instead of a stroller if bobby ahs that big of an issue

it's not a big issue. i was just wondering if anyone else felt the same way and why it's a problem
i know myself that its only pretend play and they need that kind of play
