I am amazed everytime I see them for the first time. Pretty sure I've cried everytime also ^^ I spend weeks checking out everything, all I wanna do is stare at them.

Sorry- I should clarify when you gave birth and saw them for the first time

With Layla I was shell shocked. I just stared at her not knowing what to make of it. It was like my whole pregnancy I had being in denial and didn;t realise an ACTUAL baby would come out.

straight after he was born, i was too tired to think. i think, during the night, being woke up by a small cry, i just thought 'wow this is all real, hes mine'. i changed his nappy, fed him and just stared into his eyes until he fell asleep again

I could barely see him when they were cleaning him and stuff (i didn't see him until 2 hours after he was born) I cried.. When my mom went and got him for me to see later that night I cried again.. I was just so amazed at him... I couldn't believe it was real, that he was finally here...

I bet it's the most surreal thing. I know I will cry. Hard.

i was a mess when finn finally came out. i'd been sobbing since they prepped me for my c-section and i was exhausted after 14 hours of labor. when he finally came out everyone kept trying to show him to me but they were holding him so close to my face that i couldn't focus, so i remember i kept saying "i can't see him!"

when we finally got to our room i was feeling much better and i stayed up from 10pm-4am holding him and staring at him. then i had to send him to the nursery because i was exhausted but couldn't sleep with him in the room (because i couldn't put him down).

I think I'm like you Becky, it still hasn't kicked in that there's a human being in me and that an actual baby will come out! lol.

When I saw it on the U/S I had the biggest smile on my face and was getting teary. Can't imagine what I'll do when I actually see it!

cried! I have an awesome pic of me kissing her right after they cleaned her up. I have an 8X10 of it on my wall.
Jesse also cried after walking into the hall with 20 people congratulating him. He couldn't take it anymore and just started bawling.

I laughed hysterically! Sounds odd but I swear, that was the best high ever. I was so excited that I birthed my son and that it was so easy.

I want to have another child just for that moment. It was incredibl.

Suzy thats an amazing picture!! I wish I had some like that.
With Macy I think the fact that i didnt push her out and get to see her right away made me feel like she wasnt really mine. I just said O she has hair.

With Liam I cried for like 9 hrs, he was born at 9:45 didnt get to hold him til the following morning Sad
