i'm frustrated to the point of tears. I don't know whats wrong with him.. i HATE it

I'm putting him on his back..could he just not like that? Even if he doesn't he cries in his little bouncy seat to.

he might have colic, macy would cry for 2 hours for NO reason. I know its frustrating but try just holding him so he knows your there. its sad to just listen to them cry i know. have you tried walking around with him? do you have a sling?

I did try walking and it helped a little but only if i held him to where he was on his side. I do not have a sling.. Well, I just put him down on his stomach and he's fast asleep. But I'm TERRIFIED to leave him on his stomach.

Where is your mother?

upstairs in her apartment. She has been trying to leave me alone as much as possible to do this on my own but said if I need her she's just a walk up the stairs or a call away but I feel bad if I ask for her help...

Please go get her. I never let my daughter cry like that because babies only do that when they are in great need of something. He may be in pain. You are his only source of relief. Please go get him help NOW.

he stopped crying.. I put him on his stomach and he automatically quit. He might just not laying on his back anymore. If he had still cried when I put him on his stomach I was gonna go get my mom.... If he was in pain wouldn't he have still cried when I was walking with him and when I put him on his tummy? Also..most of the time I held him he was ok...

Your walking around maybe was relieving his pain, like a back massage helps your back or anyone else's back. Lying on his stomach maybe putting enough pressure on his intestines to help ease the pain from constipation just enough to allow him to pass out. Being in extreme pain is exhausting.

that is entirely possible. he could also just have colic right? Well, if it was that I don't see why putting him on his stomach would have any affect.. When he wakes up for his bottle I'll see what he does when he's on his back...

sounds like colic to me. william had colic when he was a newborn and the only relieve he had was laying on his tummy while i rubbed his back

Well, after he woke up for his bottle he was fine on his back but then when he woke up the second time he refused to lay on his back :S If the change in formula doesn't work I'll believe it's colic...

have you tried some anti colic bottles? they work wonders

yes, i have talked to her. She is going to pick up different formula when she runs to walmart

Did you ask your mother to turn her phone on at night?

oh, she ALWAYS has her phone on. She just doesn't hear it at night.

yes, the best so far is doctor browns. they're abit expensive but well worth it. we bought mam anti colic bottles and they worked wonders as nothing else seemed to work. they have a special feature in the middle of the bottle that reduces the air that your baby swallows
