Hi,
I'm 18 and stressing myself out to the max at the possibility of myself being pregnant, i had sexual intercourse on the 29th of January and have had some spotting today on the 9th of February, I'm due for my Periods on 12th of February. We didn't use a condom, but i am on the pill. I take it regularly every night between 8pm and 10pm depending what time i work till and when i get the chance to take it, i missed a pill about a week prior to having sex but took it immediately when i realized i had forgotten taking it which was about 9am the following morning.
What are the chances of me being pregnant?
I also realize that stressing delays periods, but i just can't stop feeling stressed. Also i have 3 more tablets before i finish my sheet of pills, should i continue taking the last few pills leading up to my period time or stop taking them and see if my periods come sooner?
I do remember spotting a few days prior to getting my periods before, but it doesn't happen often I'm wondering if it's implantation bleeding or just something that can happen?
I don't know what i will do if i don't get my periods, my mum would be furious with me I'm sure if i mentioned the possibility of being pregnant too her.

So technically you did not do anything wrong regarding taking your pills, because you took the one dose you missed, right? I would not stop taking the rest of them, though.

You should call your obgyn and ask their advice, and to ease your mind.

you can miss ONE PILL and be ok. one pill will most likely NOT lead you to pregnancy

Break through bleeding in between period can happen on the pill and that sounds very much like what you experienced. It is unlikely you are pregnant.

IF you miss your period, take a pregnancy test. However, do NOT stop taking your pills until pregnancy is confirmed or ... you know, your period starts.

Yeah I took my pill right when I woke up. And I also had break through bleeding but that didn't worry me because I've missed a pill before and that had happen. So if you miss just one pill it is possible to get pregnant!

my mom said both times she got pregnant with my sister and i, she had only missed one pill. even with taking the pill regularly you can get pregnant, but the chances are slim. i also knew a girl who was on the pill regularly, had her period and only gained 10 pounds then one day she got sick and popped out a little boy to her surprise. she had no idea. strange things happen.
but, most likely you arnt pregnant. take a test to be sure.
