Ive been a vegetarian for 10 yrs* its not hard for me anymore at least, I dont remember it ever being hard but it is a little harder when u start older but definitly doable.I cant think of too many certain easy vegetarian recipes right now and dont have much time cuz we got alot of cleanin to do for the shower. .But basically, everything others eat with meat, can be made vegeatarian. Plus, I dont know where u live, but I buy morningstar (the brand) veggie burger, veggie sausages, veggie chic patties etc which are great.. .But if u go to yahoo and type in vegetarian recipes, alot comes up. Goodluck ,its a good way of eating, just can be difficult sometimes to get everything you need*

Kitty- why did you "quit" being a vegetarian?
Kari-thanks! Im going to check the grocery store for morningstar product. Are the sausages good..I heard hotdogs tasted nasty..And like rubber so I was wondering if the sausages were sort of the same as the hotdogs. Thanks again!

O no no I hate the hotdogs (ive never liked hotdogs anyhow) but I love the veggie sausages. Most the veggie burgers dont taste like real meat. .But see, I like that cuz I dont like the taste of meat anymore of course. Havent tasted any in 10 1/2 yrs but I still remember it! Lol... But u'd be surprised, they have some great tasting products. And my brother, who does like the taste of meat, eats boca brand sometimes because he says they taste more like meat. (hes not a vegetarian tho) this stuff can get expensive tho, its like 4$ for a box (4 come in the veggie burgers, 6 in the sausages, but their smaller) but yea just look online for recipes that are meatless. .Theres tons. But also, if ur considering to keep with it for good, make sure you look up health plans on it so you get enough nutrition* its harder, most docs reccomend takin a vitamin daily if ur a veg. And gettin plenty of calcium and protein. I am used to bein a vegetarian, I could never go 'against' it myself because I would feel so terrible now..Its a good way to go, normally healthier too as long as u dont just eat fatty foods and carbs n candy all the time* is there a reason why u want to be a vegetarian? Jw***

I came across peta website and saw some videos of what goes on at meat farms. It turned me off from meat instantly. Thats the reason why I want to become vegetarian. As for veggie burgers, i've had the ones from harveys and they taste 10x better than real meat burgers. Its spicier! :d

Isn't being a vegetarian unhealty? Seriously, I just wondered cause that is what everyone seems to say.
If you like lasagna, and eggplant (i guess you would have to like both!) you can make eggplant lasagna, which if it is made right is awesome. But, you could always just make lasagna without meat too. I love pasta, so that would be my best bet right there!
I have never watched what goes on at the meat plants, and if I did I am sure I would never eat it again either.

I dont know why I quit.. I just did. It would be so hard for me to come one again cuz I am so picky!! And I hate fish(yuck) so all I would eat is bread and veggies and fruits!!

No it isnt unhealthy at all. As long as u make healthy choices hotasfrick. U cant just fill up on carbs like pasta or it is unhealthy (u eat carbs too tho of course everyday), but u have to have foods from all food groups at each meal, or at least try to in general.
