I work for a assertive community treatment team, I have been working with a gentalman who presents with what apperes to me as some ocd type behavior, mostly around deacation. He presents with some o/c with numbers which started around age 10 per family report, its defacaton peice is what has me stumped. He has been treated for mosty thought disorders, I think the ocd peice has been overlooked for years. Can't seem to find much info just looking for info, insight suggestions???

Deacation? Defacaton?

Since neither word/spelling is in my dictionary as such & since I can think of at least 3 (defacing, deca as in 10 and toilet issues) possible meanings/words you might mean & as I am sure that there may be others - please explain exactly what you mean.

Then hopefully I or someone else might be able to assist.

Could you go in more depth? What thought disorders does he have? Number counting- that could be associated w/ocd (constantly counting street signs, have to have even numbers, etc) and what are his behaviors that you are concerned about?
