Usually its sposed to be a friend or family member that plans it and sets it up (im not too keen on baby showers either thats just what I was told) but if ur the one throwing it, then prolly send out invitations about 3 weeks before (in case they work so they can book time off work) and its sposed to be only girls (which kinda sux cuz I got mostly guy friends lol!) but u set a date and time, they come by and usually there are snacks and stuff and some kinds of baby games (one we played at my sis' friends baby shower was where we wrapped a present up about 15 times and it went around to each person and they all had to unwrap a layer and whoever took off the last layer got to keep the present!) so games like that. Im not sure bout registering (cuz we dont rgister up here) but u can register whenever u feel like (even now if u want) or just tell people what ur hoping to get or what u need/like. Hopefully ive helped!

Only Girls?
This is just silly, as the father is every bit apart of this. Sure I guess not many guys would be interested in the silly games that are often played, but when I was with my ex, his cousin had 2 baby showers, and half the people were guys. And they enjoyed it. I think guys should be apart of it.
