Q: Non Small Cell Lung Cancer And Anaphylaxis?

Mom was diagnosed with lung cancer 2 months ago and is now undergoing chemotherapy. Fortunately she is tolerating the chemo pretty well but her biggest problem is anaphylactic reactions. She has been tested and has no known allergies. The doctors can only guess that the cancer is somehow the causative agent. Does anyone else know about this? It's driving us crazy because there is no way to predict or prevent when an attack will occur. Mad

Hi runner, sorry to hear about your mom I know how hard and frustrating that can be I had a father with cancer also.. Although I dont know much in fact really nothing at all about anaphylactic reactions I did go to a sight where I sometimes go to find information have you ever heard of ask jeeves? I went there and typed in what you were asking about and there is some material in there that may help you.. In case you havent heard of it before just type in ask.Com then you will see a spot to type in what you are looking for so just type in anaphylactic reactions and it will come up for you. I am not sure if it will have what your looking for but there is a few things in there worth checking out.. Hope this helps.Good luck and take care.. Laughing
