Q: vitamin D deficiency

Hi,
Does anyone know the effects on the body with a vitamin.d. deficiency please...flossy 22

There are a lot of health problems that you can have with vitamin D deficiency. The first one that I think of is bone loss. Vitamin D is necessary for the absorption of calcium.

Hello Mominashoe,
Thank you for the link which I found interesting.
I was trying to tie up my symptoms which have been mainly bone and muscle pain and lethargy..it appears this may be the culprit but doctor does not seem to know much about it.I am taking 1000mg daily and am feeling much better but living in Australia I find it a puzzle to be deficient in vit.d.
I have been unwell for some time with the Dr's view it was most likely fibromyalgia so I will have to wait and see if I still make progress...thanks again Mim
