Oh, ok. Sorry I misunderstood. I thought she was ALREADY worried when you went.

And this thread HAS grown too long hasn't it? lol. I for one will leave geoff alone now, haha. I have given my opinion on the matter, everyone else has theirs... so, lets just agree to disagree.

Recent Visit to Dr.
As a skin cancer survivor (Penile Squamous Cell Carcinoma), I am supposed to see a Dermatologist every six months. The other day I had my semi-annual "skin check" exam. This was my first visit to this particular (female) physician as my previous (male) doctor was no longer accepting my insurance plan. This new doctor was very thorough as she examined every inch of my skin from head to toe, including the genital area. I did not get an erection, or even close, but I definitely enjoyed the experience. This woman came across as very kind and caring and asked me several times if I had any questions. Following the 15-20 minute exam, she sat and chatted with me for another 5 minutes while I was sitting on the examination table totally naked - no gown, no underwear, nothing. She was clearly quite comfortable with this situation, as was I. Perhaps it is because she is originally from Europe where nudity is no big deal. In my view, if you are a heterosexual guy, and you have to go to a doctor, and you have to get naked, you might as well go to a woman doctor. I don't understand why a heterosexual guy would WANT to be naked around another guy.

Geez, i promised i wouldn't post here anymore... but i can't resist. And since it's a new addition on your part... i'm sorry, i have to...

I must ask... why would a heterosexual (MARRIED) guy would WANT to be naked around another woman?

I don't think its a matter of WANTING to be naked around another person... it's more about HAVING to.

Why choose a woman doctor
Biani wrote:

Well, Biani, there are a few reasons. 1.) There is a fairly good chance the skin cancer will recur. Therefore, it is imperative that my skin be thoroughly checked by a Dermatologist every 6 months. 2.) If SOME doctor is going to run their fingers over my naked body, it might as well be a woman because...3.) It makes an otherwise dreary experience fun. By the way, my wife, who is also a patient of this doctor, referred me to her.

I get that you have to go to a dermatologist, ok? That's not the issue. Your wife may have even referred you to her doctor because she knows she's good. All is good so far. Having another man touch you giving you the creeps, understandable as well.
All i'm saying is that if your wife knew just how 'fun' it was for you, she wouldn't be comfortable with it.

Right- that's the only thing I was concerned about- that when I mentioned that you should tell your wife and live out your fantasy with her, you said no, that that would make her insecure and you wanted to keep that fantasy seperate from her.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with how you feel. I just think that if you feel that way, share that part of your sex life with your wife!! If I was your wife, it would probably make me uncomfortable too... not because you feel that way, but your attention isn't on her, it's on these other strangers.

But whatever... this has gone on far too long!! Lol....

And I'm still a little skeptical about why you posted this in the first place!!

Reason for initial post
Georgia59, I just wanted to see if there were other guys who had the same sort of attraction to nurses and woman doctors. I'm sure there are - but none have posted. Since I'm new to this website, I had no idea that so many women read the "Men's Sexual Health" forum. I guess I'll have to start reading the "Women's Sexual Health" forum to see what people are talking about over there. Smile

I see. You know, though, I'm sure there are tons. Otherwise they wouldn't sell sexy nurse costumes at sex shops, right?

Sexy nurse costumes
Right you are. But, for some reason, none of the other guys want to talk about it.

If you want a bunch of guys to pat you on the back for being aroused and attracted to other women besides your wife, go over to Men's Chat. Women can't post there.

i agree with tylanas. not only that, but they're probably making notes in your files that says that you are getting a chubby every time you come into the office. do you want THAT following you around all of your days? your medical records go with you forever. when you're older, you might end up having a friend who's one of your doctors. do you want him/her seeing that you got a hard-on every time you went to a doctor's office?

this is the wrong venue for you to exercise your fantasy. you need to do the thing with having your wife try on the nurse's outfit or something. take it out on her...at least you won't be regarded as "one of those" by the medical profession for the rest of your life.

I think Geoff is saying his wife might get jealous if him and his wife play dressup because she would think he gets off on all female nurses.....so the next time he visits one she would wonder what they are doing. She doesn't have an idea of his fetish yet...am I right? Everyone here is busting his balls for having this fetish but his question was if anyone was going through the same thing as him...not how to fix it...so stop criticizing him and let him be.

Thanks Speakerbox for the kind words. You are correct, and I mentioned this in an earlier post months ago, that, if I discussed this with my wife, she might become concerned every time I go a woman doctor. Also mentioned months ago was that I have only had an erection with a health professional one time - 20 years ago. She was an X-Ray technician who put her hands on my hips to position me properly on the table while I was nude under a skimpy little gown. I didn't plan to become erect, it just happened. Mostly it's just a fantasy. I would not actually have sex with a nurse or woman doctor for two reasons. One, I have never and will never, cheat on my loving wife. Two, a nurse or doctor could lose their career for having sex with a patient.

My female boss sent me to a clinic for an exam. She deliberatly set it up to have a woman doctor see me nude. I was extreamly embarassed & turned red but aside from my loss of dignity, got over it. My boss later told me she did this to teach me more respect for women.

i have a couple of thoughts about this:

1) your female boss is sick in the head and is involving herself in your life WAY TOO PERSONALLY. if i were you, i'd undoubtedly sue her.

2) what is it about you that is so terrible that she thinks you have no respect for women to the point that she would do that to you? are you a terrible person? do you have no respect for women and the boss has just had all she could stand of it? if that is the case, she should have fired you rather than done what she did.

something smells fishy about this whole situation.

Hey Geoff, sorry I didn't see this earlier it had dropped below the rader

Nurse/Doctor/Phychologists fetish is a routine male fetish often linked with control or medical fetishism. A fetish specifically for sexualizing medical personel usually comes on the heels of trauma associated with medicine or a fear of loss of control in a medical environment (Meaning less fear of getting an erection and more that decisions about your health are being made without your control). I'm guessing at some point in your formative years you had a very uncomfortable medical experience or the medical procedures you're undergoing right now are a bit more threatenning to you than you'll admit.

Regardless, perfectly normal, perfectly natural.
Don't worry about "chubby" appearing on your chart. These people are medical professionals, not giggling schoolgirls. They understand that the body doesn't allways do what you want it to much better than you do. If you ahve an embarassing erection, just explain you have a thing for nurses/doctors and appologise that you can't do much to control it. One of the benifits of having a very common fetish is that people are used to it and generally understand.

You really do need to tell you wife. It doesn't matter if you have a Nurse Fetish or an Arctic Explorer Fetish. You can't allow your fear of how she's react make her an outsider to your sexuality. You're dismantaling the trust in your marriage and it's just silly to think she's not going to realize something is up. Worst case scenario you're going to be seeing male doctors, you can certainly tough that out. Best case scenario your sexlife will move out of the waiting room and into the doctors office when she decides she'd love to "play doctor" with her husband.

I had to go for an xray of my lower half. I had to have one with a full blader and one while peeeing. The only way to get the xray in the correct position to do it without a gown on. I was ok untill I noticed that there was some trainee doctors watching, all female. Needless to say that i found it difficult to pee.
